Professional-grade 4K dual-lens turret with full 180° panoramic view and true full-colour night vision — no IR washout, no blind spots. Powered by 300W solar panel with Victron MPPT controller and 50Ah battery. 4G LTE connected via Cat4 router in IP66 enclosure. Jotun 3-layer corrosion protection on all steel components.

Applied to all steel pole and bracket components: (1) Zinc-rich primer for cathodic protection, (2) Polymer intermediate layer for moisture barrier, (3) Satin black polyurethane topcoat for UV and abrasion resistance. Engineered for aggressive coastal environments at Redhead Beach.
Hot-Dip Galvanised Steel Footing. Below-ground base plate and footing anchor galvanised to AS/NZS 4680 — maximum underground corrosion resistance where the Jotun coating cannot be applied.

Coastal Corrosion Advisory: The TP-Link SP9030 plastic housing and metal fittings are not rated for aggressive coastal exposure. At Redhead Beach, corrosion-related failure is likely within 1–2 years. The UNV custom system with Jotun coating is the recommended long-term solution for this site.

Solar Capacity & Future Expansion
300W panel provides significant surplus capacity beyond current camera and modem requirements
☀️ Power Budget — 300W Panel + 50Ah Battery
The 300W solar panel generates approximately 1,248 Wh per day in Newcastle (5.2 peak sun hours × 80% efficiency). The UNV camera (~8W) and 4G router (~8W) consume approximately 384 Wh/day in continuous operation.
This leaves a daily surplus of ~864 Wh — well over double the current system demand. The 50Ah battery (600Wh) provides a full day of backup autonomy in zero-sun conditions.
✅ Solar Street / Area Lighting — Available Within Existing Capacity
The surplus power budget is more than sufficient to run solar street lighting from the existing infrastructure. A LED area light can be connected directly to the Victron MPPT load output with dusk-to-dawn timing and low-battery protection — all configurable via the VictronConnect app. This is available as an optional add-on to this system. Pricing on request.
🔮 Future Expansion Capacity
The existing 300W panel and 50Ah battery have sufficient headroom to support the addition of a second camera and a solar LED street light simultaneously, without any panel or battery upgrade. Cabling provision for a second camera can be included at installation stage if required — available on request.
The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/20 load output supports up to 20A continuous (~240W at 12V). All settings configurable wirelessly via VictronConnect app. System is monitored remotely via Victron VRM portal.
